Soo Yeon Lee is an international table tennis champion, fashion model, actress and the face of contemporary ping pong worldwide.
Born (May 22,1984) in Busan, South Korea, She first approached the sport of table tennis at the age of nine. Her natural talent and training swiftly brought national recognition after she won six successive titles as the Korean National Junior Champion since at the age of eleven, after she won three Korean National Championships. Soo left home at the age of 12 to receive extensive training under the world champion, Lee Ailesa and later supervision of Olympic Gold Medalist, Jung Hwa Hyun, in the Korean National Training Center. Around this time, she started traveling the world to compete in international tournaments. Representing South Korea, Soo won 2nd Place in the World University Championship in China. Additional championship achievements include being crowned as the 2004 New Zealand Women’s Singles Champion and the Sportsperson of the Year amongst many others. In 2007, she arrived in the United States and won a number of U.S. national tournaments including the U.S Open Championship.

Soo’s status as a world-class athlete combined with her success as a model have served to explosively launch her acting career in television and film.
